Script Guidance

All Formats and All Genres

Western Norway Film Fund offers script guidance on projects in all formats and genres. The screenwriter must be resident in Vestland or Møre og Romsdal county municipality.

Script Guidance can be provided for projects at all stages. The script supervisor is Ulf Breistrand, who has extensive experience as a screenwriter, dramaturg and director.

    • Applicants must be residents of Vestland or Møre and Romsdal counties.

    • The offer applies to both new and experienced filmmakers.

    • The guidance is given through a digital meeting, alternatively via phone.

    • After the initial guidance, you write a short report, emphasising how you will develop the project further.

    • The report is sent to the script supervisor for continued dialogue and feedback.

    • Send a short application with a CV and the text you want guidance on to manus@vestnorskfilm.no

    • Describe what you want from the project and what you need help with.

    • There are no application deadlines, requests will be considered on a rolling basis.
